Himontagon (Morning) Hills

                                






                            Himontagon Hills or best known as Morning Hills is a wallet friendly tourist destination in Bohol, no entrance fee; it only cost you the fare from the City or wherever you head from, located in Botoc, Loay, Bohol, Philippines. Just 30-40 minutes bus ride from the Heart of the province, Tagbilaran City.

                              Its natural scenic view will surely leave an astounding image in your mind even more glamour than your camera could ever capture. Eye tantalizing picturesque during sunrise or sunset would perhaps help you unwritten the pain of the past.

                             I and my friend Ernie led to the place one morning to cover pictorials. Around 4:00 A.M. dawn we started taking our step heading to the place, paid only Twenty Pesos(P 20.00) each, commuting with Southern Star, a public bus bound to Ubay, Bohol from Dao, Integrated Bus Terminal, Tagbilaran City. You can also take a bus going to Jagna, Bohol.

                           Never heard about the place before and the visit was actually my first time. We reached the place after a while. Ride a motorcycle from hill foot and paid just a Hundred Pesos (P 100.00) for us two.  Along the way, about one and a half kilometer to the top of the hill, perfectly situated was houses and crus stations, ample temperature and morning noises also coated the place.

                          Casting the hill top is overlooking Bohol Sea, soul uplifting serenity and deafening silence overrides my thought and a never exhausting fresh airs play around my cheeks the whole moment. Trees, shrubs and grasses alike teamed up with flower-flirting-birds perfectly theme a paradise-like aura.  Cold dews gave my skin a sweet sensation helped me feel more welcome.

                         Photographer couldn't leave the place without taking some photos, not even us. Here are some of those images we took from the place.

                    Behold the wonderful creation of our unseen Creator, an astounding beauty of our planet-Earth.  A gift for us to care and enjoy about. 

                        I borrowed my friend's camera and took this photo myself. Breath taking scenery fastened, connecting my own unseen world. Can't stop thinking about creating extra natural views aside from what is mystically pleasing and visible to my own naked eyes. 

                       An idea came along. We decided to theme the place into something I want the world to see. Another world within this world. 

                         Yes, I love reading books. I used to spend my holidays in the library. Himontagon Hills is the place that has the the edge over any other rooms where you spent time reading because it has a perfect atmosphere (if in season) that will help you feel comfortable.

                     No, it's not a lonely place. Its silence will help you bring out the noise within you. That noise is helplessly stuck until a place like this will bring it out.

                   One could realize things from the inside of her/him. Lessons that was never brought up with the disturbing and very noisy City. Just like that. During the visit, believe it or not, I was able to realized that it is not always good to follow your heart because it can easily be deceived. Well thought.

                      We continue the drama shoot to complete the imaginary world with the help of the perfectly shaped hill top. It's funny isn't it. I maybe so wrong to say that this place known to be a tourist destination in Bohol, jeopardized with the "wallet friendly" idea. I mean, this is not yet known well but the splendor casts the place bountifully as a gift a tourist can see. There are only few tourist who came to see the site, most of them are from the outside province. But natives, I mean loayanon, knew this site well. They have this place for pre-nuptials, lentins and a just-hangging-arround site.  

                  Let me try my role as a long distance lover. Did this place unmatched the situation portrayed herewith?  No, it looks real. I mean look at the surroundings and mind the thought instilled with. Again this is not a lonely place, it's just look like one, and makes someone who has a lonely heart become more fond.

                    Things most connected people to someone in a distant are scared about. You missed them. You happen to visit this place. Feel the pain that demands to be felt, ...because of the surroundings. Ah Oh! awkward.  Yes you can, if you just like to. 

                     A very important lesson a person must learn is that, to know how to respond the pain inside. It demands to be felt. Hence, you should learn how to feel it and this place will help you do that. I mean, yes you knew how, but please without denial or sugar coating. Let me say again that this place is not a lonely one. Visitors is.
